Program

Day 1: Welcome to Cyprus
Arrival on the island from Larnaca / Paphos airport, where you will meet your guide and you will be transferred to your hotel in Paphos. Enjoy the welcome snacks and drinks that we will prepare for you. Check in your room and free time to enjoy the area.

Day 2: Welcome Meeting, King’s Tombs, Beach walk & Light House
In the morning, we will meet after our open Buffet breakfast, we will have our welcome meeting to get all Info about Cyprus, the week and area that we are staying. Maps and brochures will be distributed as well. Relax and have a light lunch near our hotel, then our lovely beach walk will start through the Magnificent Archeological site of ‘Kings Tombs’ of Paphos. It’s one of the most important archaeological sites of Cyprus that has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list since 1980. The monumental underground tombs are carved out of solid rock and date back to the Hellenistic and Roman periods, which means 2.500 years ago people were living there. We will see this great area and have nice beach walk, before we have a coffee break. Then, we will visit the Light House of Paphos, which is a nice place inside the archaeological site, and you can get some lovely photos around it. Our relax and Beautiful day will and by the hotel again. Total walk will be 7 km. and it’s an easy walk.  Excursion start: 13:30 Return to the hotel: 17:00. Included dinner and overnight at our Hotel.

Day 3: Miliou Village, Oranges, Carobs & Ayii Anargyri Natural Healing Spa
Today we will explore one of the most picturesque and interesting village of Cyprus at the Troodos Mountains, MILIOU.   Miliou is one of the smallest villages in Paphos district, however offers many activities and provides excellent conditions for relax visit to the area. We will enjoy long walks in the nature and will be able to taste orange infused Juice, Local Honey, Tea from Nature, Marmalade and many more traditional dishes and sweets, wild life birds and flowers on our way. The Village is famous with its homemade bread and Carob Honey), you may try these before lunch while you are having your coffee at the local show. Then, a leisure walk through the Village until we reach to our SPA hotel “Ayii Anargyri Natural Healing Spa” Centre. Which was the monastery originally built in 1649 and was among the first to be built on the island. It was founded by two brothers who cared for the sick and dying without payment, leading to the monastery acquiring its name, from the Greek meaning "without payment". We will have a lovely local lunch, try local vines and have a relax time in the middle of the Forest. During the day, we will have the opportunity to buy locally handmade products, Honey, as well as fruits.  Total walk will be 8 km. and it’s an easy walk. Excursion start: 09:30 Return to the hotel: 16:00.
 
Day 4: Cultural Capital “Paphos”, Mosaic Museum & Sun-Set at Pano Paphos
Have a good sleep in the morning and late Breakfast as our tour will start around 14.30, in the afternoon and will finish at a local Village with lovely Tavern meal. One of the best CULTURAL CAPITAL of EUROPE is Paphos city. We will have a lovely walk around the History, monuments, shops and through historic sites such as the Forty Columns (named after the large number of granite columns of the ancient Agora), built in the 7th century AD, the Roman Conservatory (Archaeological Park Square with mosaics). Then carry to the old town of Kato Paphos, where Paphos Castle, House of Dionysus, which is a Roman Style Hellenistic building from 2nd. Century AD. Then, the famous mosaic museum of Paphos will show us the great History of Cyprus. One of the best sun-set view of Paphos is from Pano Paphos, where we will be for the afternoon tea, sun set & Relax. Delicious Dinner will be at the Village around the Monumental buildings with wine, until late night to return back to our Hotel to Overnight.
 
Day 5: Lefkara Village “Lace making” & Capital Nicosia
Breakfast will be followed with a nice drive to the only divided Capital of Europe, Nicosia city. Which is the only divided Capital in Europe. We will visit the Green Line as well as the Cyprus Museum of Nicosia, the oldest and largest archaeological museum in Cyprus. The museum houses artifacts discovered during numerous excavations on the island. After visiting the Museum, we will have a nice walk, enter the old city for light lunch and free time for shopping. On the way home, the most beautiful Village of Cyprus “village of Lefkara” will be our stop. Lefkara village is known for its Lefkaritic lace embroideries as well as its handmade silver jewelry. The village takes its name from the white of the mountains' silica and limestone. Our tour of the village and stop for Cypriot coffee at a local coffee shop, will give us the opportunity to talk and get to know the locals of the island. Excursion start: 09:30 Return to the hotel: 17:00. Included dinner and overnight at our Hotel.

Day 6: Petra tou Romiou & Footsteps of Richard the Lionheard
After our Open Buffet Breakfast, we will have our welcome meeting with Information about the week, Hotel and area of the hotel to learn what is where) Then, Maps and Information leaflets will be distributed.  When we start to our tour, our first stop will be the birthplace of Aphrodite (Petra tou Romiou). The goddess Aphrodite who is the goddess of love, beauty, joy and passion. After Lunch, we will proceed to an ancient “Foinikas Ghost Village”, the abandoned village of Foinikas (Phoenix), is located along the Asprokremmos dam 3 km away from Anarita. Richard I the Lionheart who captured Cyprus in 1191 AD after defeating the Byzantines sold the island to the Knights Templar, whom used the Place to control Mesaria Plane. Very Interesting and beautiful area with the dam. Dinner and overnight at our hotel in Limassol. Excursion start: 10:30 Return to the hotel: 17:30.
 
Day 7: Ancient city of Kourion & Limassol
After Breakfast, the day will begin with lovely drive to the ancient City Kingdom’s ruins of Kourion, a magnificent city is located on top of the rocks, by the sea. There you will be able to admire the impressive view of the city as well as the sanctuary of Apollo, the Cemetery of the Gate of Amathus, the House of Duelists and the House of Achilles of prehistoric times. Kourion was an important city-kingdom in antiquity and stands as one of the most impressive archaeological sites in Limassol/Cyprus. Afterwards, we will visit the Kourion Theatre, 2nd. Century Magnificent building, which is still used to this day, for the organization of various festivals. Then, we will drive to Limassol. Here we will visit the exciting sights, the excellent shops and the Old Town – the picturesque fishing harbor and marina. Also take a stroll through the ancient castle, the wedding Hall) of Richard the Lionheart (Richard the Lionheart married for the first and the last time in Limassol in 1991, when he came to Cyprus with the 3rd. Crusade, and the Lady he married is the only Queen of England, who never been to England) and the traditional Ottoman baths that are still in operation will be on our way. Tour will finish with a lovely relaxing break at the Marina.  Return to hotel and relax until the GALA Dinner in a great Local Tavern, special dishes and local Vine (All Drinks Included). Overnight at our Hotel.  Excursion start: 09:30 Return to the hotel: 16:30
 
Day 8: Goodbye Cyprus - See you again!
Depending on the departure of your flight, we will arrange your transfer by bus to Larnaca / Paphos airport.
