The imposing Church was founded in 1823, at the spot where the icon of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary was found, according to the vision of Saint Pelagia. Free time to tour the church grounds and go down to the port where you will have an optional lunch and take your walk along the "old road", a beautiful and historic route that leads to the church where on the left and right of the road you will find all kinds of small souvenir shops. Day 4: AEGINA
Breakfast and transfer to the port of Piraeus where we will board the boat to the island of Aegina where we will tour the island. Our first short stop is at the Monastery of the miraculous Saint Nektarios, the patron saint of the island. Saint Nektarios lived in the monastery for 12 consecutive years. From 1908 to 1920, where he died. During this entire time, he lived in a small house - which survives to this day along with his personal belongings - outside the boundaries of the then monastery, since the monastery was a women's monastery. The church of the Holy Trinity, which he founded himself and was inaugurated on June 2, 1908, is in the Byzantine style. Nowadays, close to this church there is another one, dedicated to Saint Nektarios, and a little further away is the chapel with the tomb of the Saint. Saint Nektarios died on November 9, 1920. His body remained incorruptible for 21 whole years. The transfer of his remains took place on September 3, 1963. We will continue our walk to the archaeological site of Aphaia Athena, where anyone who wants can tour and be enchanted by the stunning view. If the atmosphere is clear, you can see the Temple of Poseidon in Sounion and the Acropolis of Athens. They say that the three temples form an isosceles triangle (the sacred triangle of antiquity). From there we depart early in the afternoon to Agia Marina, where we will have free time to walk, eat and of course swim in its clear blue waters. Early in the afternoon we depart to the city of Aegina, where we will have free time for our afternoon coffee, but also to get to know all the different products that the locals make with the famous local product Aegina pistachio. Late in the afternoon we will return to our hotel in Athens.

Those who wish will have time to visit and try their luck at the casino for approximately 2 1/2 hours, while the rest will visit the refuge in Bafi where we will have our optional lunch since the refuge has an organized kitchen where you can taste homemade cooked food, handmade village pies, baked sweets and hot drinks.
