Program

Day 1: LARNACA - ATHENS - TRIKALA - KALAMBAKA
Gathering at Larnaca airport to take our flight to Athens. Arrival, pick-up and departure to Trikala, with a stopover for lunch. Trikala is a beautiful city, most of which is pedestrianized. This is followed by a city tour where we will see the Central Bridge, the city's Fortress, the old city consisting of the Varousi and Manavika districts, the railway station, the courthouse and the metal bridge over the Litheos River. We continue to Kalambaka, check-in at the hotel and overnight.

Day 2: PYLI - KOZIAKA SKI CENTER - ELATI - PERTOULI - KALAMBAKA
Breakfast and departure to get to know some of the most famous and beautiful villages of Trikala. Our first stop is the village of Pyli, which is known as the "passage to South Pindos" - hence the name of the town. The bridge of Agios Bessarion, which has stood imposingly since 1514, was the only passage until 1936 of South Pindos to and from the Thessaly plain and is a place of unique beauty. A few kilometers above Pyli are the infamous artificial waterfalls of Paleokarya from where, following the route, we will visit the Koziakas ski center and the mountainous villages of Elati and Pertouli. In Pertouli we will have a short stay for coffee and return to Elati. Elati, immersed in dense fir forests, fully justifies its name. The old stone buildings, the cobblestone streets and the small squares, decorated with fountains and flower beds, give it nobility and picturesqueness. Stop for lunch. Return to Kalambaka. Overnight.

Day 3: METEORA - MONASTERY OF AGIOS STEFANOS - MONASTERY OF BARLAAM - KALAMPAKA
After breakfast we will depart for Meteora, a landscape that enchants with the natural rocks and the monasteries located on their outskirts. We will visit the Monastery of Agios Stefanos which is located just above Kalambaka and the Monastery of Varlaam. At noon we return to Kalambaka for lunch. The rest of the day is free. Overnight.

Day 4: LAKE PLASTIRA - ATHENS
After breakfast we say goodbye to Kalambaka and head towards the artificial lake Plastira, a destination for every season of the year. After all, the locals usually call it “the lake of the 4 seasons”. 18 picturesque villages surround the lake, whose area is almost 55 kilometers. We will visit the lakeside village of Lampero and the beautiful Neochori where we will have free time for lunch. We will arrive in Athens late in the afternoon. Check-in at the hotel and overnight.

Day 5: ATHENS RIVIERA - STAVROS NIARCHOS FOUNDATION - TEMPLE OF POSEIDON - SOUNION
After breakfast we will depart for the Athenian Riviera, reaching Cape Sounion. Our excursion begins with a first visit to the Stavros Niarchos Foundation where we will stop for our morning coffee. We will continue our route along the coast to discover the Temple of Poseidon in Sounio and enjoy the stunning view of the Aegean Sea. Return to Fokia beach where we will stay for our lunch. In the afternoon return to Athens and free time. Overnight.

Day 6: ATHENS - LARNACA
Breakfast and free time to do your last shopping in the Greek capital or wander the picturesque alleys of Plaka or Thissio to enjoy your coffee. Early in the afternoon transfer to Eleftherios Venizelos airport to take our return flight to Larnaca loaded with beautiful images and memories.
