Program
Day 1-2: LARNACA - DUBAI - HANAI
Gathering at Larnaca airport and departure for the capital of Vietnam, Hanoi, with a stopover. Overnight on the plane and arrival the next day. After the entry process into the country and the welcome by girls in traditional costumes, Hanoi welcomes us with unique style and grace, as it strongly retains the signs of French colonialism and is the economic and cultural center of Northern Vietnam. Transfer and check-in at the hotel. Free time for rest. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: HANOI - TOUR
After breakfast, our acquaintance with Hanoi, the "silver city" with the seven lakes and dozens of pagodas will begin with a visit to the Museum of Ethnology with its rich exhibits and the Temple of Literature. We continue our tour with a visit to the beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake and the picturesque Huc Bridge. Our tour will end in the picturesque streets of the old town for shopping. In the afternoon, we invite you to watch a very interesting water puppet show. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: HANOI - HA LONG - HANOI
Breakfast and departure for the magnificent Ha Long Bay, which is unique and one of the natural wonders of the planet, where we will enjoy a cruise on traditional boats. Ha Long Bay is under the protection of UNESCO and is every nature lover's dream with hundreds of towering and lush green rocks scattered in the sea, islands of strange shapes that form countless virgin beaches as well as amazing caves. During the cruise you will enjoy your meal with fresh seafood as well as a visit to two of the most beautiful caves in the area (Thien Cung & Dau Go). In the afternoon we return to Hanoi. Overnight.
Day 5: HANOI - HOI AN
After breakfast we will be transferred to the airport to take the flight to the city of Da Nang. Arrival, pick-up and we will follow one of the most beautiful routes in Vietnam to reach the city of Hoi An. On the way we will visit the great Cham museum and the "marble mountains" with caves. Arrival and check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6: HOI AN - GOLDEN BRIDGE
After breakfast we will depart to visit the impressive and much-photographed “Golden Bridge” in the Ba Na Hills. Suspended over 1,400 meters above sea level, the bridge seems to be held by two giant hands emerging from the hills, which although they look stone are made of steel. Return to Hoi An for a tour of the traditional streets of the city, which during the 16th century was one of the largest trading centers in Southeast Asia. During our tour we will visit, among other things, the Japanese Covered Bridge, the Ong Pagoda, the Fukienese Chinese Temple built in 1692 by the Chinese Phuoc Kien, as well as a traditional silk workshop. Dinner and overnight.
Day 7: HOI AN - DA NANG - SAIGON
Breakfast and departure for Da Nang airport to take a short flight to the legendary Saigon, which has now been renamed Ho Chi Minh City. The old neoclassical buildings and its beautiful street layout exude its pre-war glory. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Then we will have a guided tour of the city. Among other things, we will see the War Museum with exhibits from the Vietnam War with the USA, the Palace, the city's Cathedral as well as the famous Post Office building, a work of the famous French architect Eiffel. Finally, if there is time, we will visit the bustling Ben Thanh market for shopping. In the evening, we will enjoy a dinner cruise on the Saigon River to admire the illuminated city. Overnight.
Day 8: SAIGON - MEKONG RIVER - SAIGON
Breakfast and departure for the Mekong River Delta to enjoy a wonderful excursion, where we will have the opportunity to see the way of life of the local residents up close. We will board a boat for a cruise on the Ben Tre River. Along the river, we will admire the lush tropical vegetation, the rice and tropical fruit plantations, as well as the daily activities of the residents. We will also have the opportunity to walk through the streets of a traditional village, get to know the traditional way of life and taste delicious tropical fruits. Then we will board the boat again to return to the bus. Return to Saigon. Dinner and overnight.
Day 10: SIEM REAP - (ANGOR WAT)
After breakfast we will visit the archaeological site of Angkor, which is built in the jungle. An unforgettable experience since the magnificent monuments of Khmer architecture are certainly the most magnificent on the Asian continent. We will start from the West Gate and the temple of Angkor Thom and continue with the South Gate where we will admire the unique temple of Bayon and the ruins of the former palace as well as the famous platforms of the elephants and the leper King. Then we will visit the amazing Buddhist temple of Ta Prohm with the huge tree trunks emerging from the walls and literally embracing the monuments. The temple became world famous from Hollywood films. We continue to the famous and largest temple of Angkor Wat, built in the 12th century as the main temple and capital of the Kingdom, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1992. The temple is the symbol of Cambodia, as well as the main tourist attraction of the country. We will conclude our tour with a visit to the Pre Rup temple, one of the oldest in the area and if the weather permits, from its top we will have the opportunity to gaze at the area and enjoy the sunset. Dinner and overnight.
Day 11: SIEM REAP - PHNOM PENH
After breakfast, we invite you to a unique experience where you can take part in a private "good luck" ceremony that will be held in a pagoda by local monks, who after the ceremony will also give you a small amulet to remind you of your today's experience. Then we will depart for the capital of Cambodia, Phnom Penh. On the way we will make a stop to admire the Kampong Bridge. Arrival and check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 12-13: PHNOM PENH - DUBAI - LARNACA
Breakfast and we begin our tour of the city with a visit to the magnificent Royal Palace and the famous Silver Pagoda, the floor of which is made of 5,000 silver tiles weighing one kilo each. We will continue with a visit to Tul Sleng, a former school that the Khmer Rouge (Khmer Rouge) converted into a center for interrogation and torture. Today it is a museum to remind visitors of the heinous crimes committed by the Khmer Rouge. We continue our tour with a visit to the killing fields 17km south of Phnom Penh and specifically to "Choeung Ek" an old Chinese cemetery which the Khmer Rouge turned into an extermination camp with mass graves. Today it is a peaceful and green place that reminds us of nothing from the past. In the afternoon we will be transferred to Phnom Penh airport to take the return flight. Arrival in Larnaca on the morning of the 13th day full of shocking images that will remain forever etched in our memory.
