Program
Day 1 - 2: LARNACA - BALI
Gathering at Larnaca airport and departure for Bali with a stopover. This island is a special place for its magnificent landscapes and temples. It is rightly called the "ISLAND OF THE GODS". Arrival the next day, pick-up by our representatives and transfer to our hotel. Overnight in Bali.
Day 3: BALI
Breakfast and free day to better explore the city and the colorful local markets where residents sell their products. Here you will find all kinds of beautiful handicrafts, local fruits, flowers, works of art, wood carvings, ceramics and jewelry. In the evening, have fun in the famous centers of Kuta until the morning hours. Overnight in Bali.
Day 4: BALI - MENGGI - ULUN DANU TEMPLE - TANA LOT TEMPLE
Breakfast and we depart for Taman Ayun and the Mengi temple, built in the 17th century for the worship of God and the memory of the king's soul. Next stop is the Hindu temple Ulun Danu which is located in a lake that fills the crater of the ancient Beratan mountain. The location is unique, as four mountains surround the lake, creating a stunning atmosphere and image. Lunch and we continue to the Tana Lot temple which nestles on top of a rock surrounded by sea and was built in the 16th century by a Hindu priest. In the afternoon return to our hotel in Kuta for an overnight stay in Bali.
Day 5: BALI
Breakfast and free day for swimming, rest and shopping. You can also explore the island with its deep traditions and culture. For the evening we recommend enjoying fresh seafood in the city's restaurants. Overnight stay.
Day 6: BALI-TOHPATI/BATUAN/MAS UBUUT
Breakfast and transfer to the city of Ubut, the center of Bali's art scene, as it hosts several museums and galleries. Bali is famous for batik (painting on fabric using wax) and so on the way we will visit one of the many workshops in the village of Tohpati to see them up close. We continue to one of the artist villages as they are called, in Batuan to admire excellent paintings and in the village of Mas where you will find wonderful wood carvings and wooden elephants. Arrival in Ubut and overnight stay.
Day 7: THE BEST OF UBUT (MONKEY FOREST - PALACE - TEGALLALANG RICE TERRACE)
Breakfast and we will visit the Monkey Forest Park where hundreds of very naughty monkeys live in the forest around the temple. We continue to the Royal Palace which was built in 1800 during the reign of Ida Tjokorda Pute Kandel. It is the palace of the royal family of Ubut but also serves as one of the main points for traditional Balinese performances. We will see the central market of Ubut which has everything you can imagine from edibles to scarves, tourist and souvenirs. We will end up at Tegallalang Terace Rice field where the classic and lush green rice fields of the area are. Lunch at a local restaurant and on the way back we will stop at Goa Gajah in Bedulu or otherwise known as the Elephant Cave. It dates back to the 11th century and was built as a spiritual place for meditation. Overnight in Ubut.
Day 8: UBUT
Breakfast and free day. You can take part in an optional rafting excursion on the Ayung River or do your shopping at the Ubut market. Overnight in Ubut.
Day 9-10: BALI - LARNACA
Don't forget that it is the ideal place to relax and try the famous local massage. Today we recommend a spa rejuvenation package at your hotel. After check-out, you can leave your luggage in a special area that the hotel will recommend until late afternoon when we will be transferred to the airport to take the return flight with a stopover. Arrival in Larnaca on the 10th day with our suitcases full of indelible images from the wonderful and lush Bali.
