Program

Day 1: Larnaca - Amman
Departure from Larnaca airport to Amman. Arrival, pick up by our partners and transfer to the hotel. Free time at your disposal. In the evening dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 2: Amman – Petra – Wadi Rum
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for a full-day excursion to the hidden pearl and masterpiece of the Nabataean City of Roses, Petra. It is a UNESCO world heritage site. This ancient capital dominated the Arab trade routes and is one of the must-sees in the Middle East. You will pass through the Siq, a narrow gorge where you will get your first close-up view of the colorful sandstone, ending up at the beautiful Treasury. Walk along the street of facades to the royal tombs, theater and Qasr Al Bint. We continue to the Valley of the Moon, Wadi Rum, where Lawrence of Arabia was based. Dinner and overnight stay in a camp to the desert.

Day 3:  Dead Sea - Amman
Breakfast and departure with the Jeeps for an excursion of about 2 hours. Then we will visit the Dead Sea where it is the natural border between Jordan, Israel and the West Bank and also the lowest point on the surface of the earth. Here the seawater contains almost 10 times more salt than the ocean, creating one of the most spectacular phenomena on the planet, in which no life form can survive. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Amman - Mandapa - Mount Nebo - Larnaca
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Madaba (Midaba) where it is the capital of the governorate of the same name in central Jordan with a population of about 60,000 inhabitants. The city is best known for its Umayyad mosaics, especially a large Byzantine-era mosaic map of the Holy Land. We will visit Mount Nembo and then transfer to the airport for our return to Cyprus.
