Program

Day 1: LARNACA - ATHENS - ROVANIEMI
Meeting at Larnaca airport and flight to Rovaniemi via Athens. Arrival, and immediately after transfer to our hotel, Metsahirvas which is a historical building of 1904, the era of Tsar Nicholas II of Russia. Built on the banks of the Kemijoki Glacier, 18km from the center of Rovaniemi, it functioned as a Forestry University before operating as a hotel. Arrival and settling in our rooms! Lunch and transfer to Rovaniemi for a first acquaintance with Santa's hometown. The city of Rovaniemi, deservedly called the home of Santa Claus, welcomes December decorated because it is the period for which preparations are made for the remaining 11 months of the year! Return to the hotel and later we will all meet together at the hotel restaurant for our dinner. Overnight.

Day 2: ROVANIEMI - SNOWMOBILE SAFARI - HUSKY DOG FARM
Today, after the rich breakfast buffet, we put on the special uniforms, helmets, gloves and following the instructions of the local leaders, we will participate in a snowmobile safari over frozen lakes and rivers in the forest. The vast network of routes, which pass through areas of wild natural beauty, forests, frozen lakes and over impassable snow surfaces and frozen rivers, adds even more beauty to the experience! We are very careful to dress comfortably and warmly. In Lapland, the long snow season and the natural facilities of the trails make this sport irresistible! A necessary condition for the driver of the vehicle is to hold a driving license. Please have the diploma with you, in case you are asked. In case the conditions require it, it is possible to modify the route for the safety of the excursionists (e.g. in case of excessively low temperatures). Immediately after transfer to the farm with the wonderful and adorable husky dogs, who are eagerly waiting for us to give us friendly barks and play with us by wagging their tails! We will hear stories from their caretakers and we will also love these amazing animals. Then we will go for a ride with the sleds, after first being given technical instructions for our safety by the qualified leaders (in English). The sleigh ride, a traditional means of transport originating from the Siberian region, is an unforgettable experience. Around the fire we will enjoy an "Excursion" meal with bread and sausages and coffee, tea or hot juice. Return in the afternoon to Rovaniemi. In the evening dinner at our hotel restaurant.

Day 3: ROVANIEMI - SAINT VASILI VILLAGE
Rich breakfast at our hotel. Immediately after departure for Santa's village, right on the imaginary Arctic Circle, where we will have the opportunity to talk with him, take a photo and perhaps express a wish to him! Santa's village is a fairytale place, a feeling you get no matter what time of year you visit! Everyone's first stop is, of course, his "Office", where a group of cheerful elves greet people and invite them inside for a little chat and a photo with Father Christmas. Equally popular is the "Santa's Post Office", where his little helpers read the Christmas orders of millions of children from all over the world. Even if you've left your childhood decades behind, you can't help but be tempted to send your friends a Christmas card with the original Santa Claus stamp! In the post office you will also find a wide variety of Christmas souvenirs, all Santa themed of course. Those who want can visit Santa Park, an amusement park with the theme of Christmas of course, which is an interesting option for our little friends! Visit Snowman World to admire the unique ice and snow sculptures and take part in all the on-site activities that will delight young and old alike, including ice skating, snowboarding lessons, snow sculpting and even ice slides! At noon we will enjoy a hot meal at the one and only Ice Restaurant right on the Arctic Circle and next to Santa Claus. Transfer to our hotel. in the evening after dinner we will take a walk and wait if the sky is clear the Magic Lights in the sky. Overnight.

Day 4: RANOU ZOO
Rich breakfast at our hotel, After a route through the white landscape we will arrive at Europe's Northernest Zoo, Ranois, also known as the Arctic Zoo! Here we will get to know up close all the animals that live in Arctic conditions and in their natural environment, such as wolves, wild cats, red foxes, white owls as well as the mighty King of the Arctic, the polar bear! Opposite the Zoological Park of Ranois, there is the gas station with the well-known Fazer chocolates and candies! Before our departure, lunch at the garden restaurant. Return to our hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day 5: ARCTIC MUSEUM – REINDEER FARM – ROVANIEMI
Today, get up early dress well and enjoy a walk on the frozen river, enjoy the snow, play snowball fight, build a snowman (coal for eyes you will find, carrot for nose ask your leader, he will take care.) Rich Christmas buffet with hot coffee and tea is waiting for you to enjoy it. We start our day with a visit to the Arcticum Museum, a unique building built on the imaginary Arctic Circle and on the city limits of Rovaniemi. Here at the center of Arctic history are exhibits through which we will get to know the history, culture and lifestyle of the Lapps and the entire Arctic. Transfer to the reindeer park where we will pet and feed Santa's lovable four-legged friends and have the pleasure of driving a reindeer sleigh through the forest, another traditional Lappish way of transportation from long ago. We will enjoy our picnic lunch at the farm restaurant and coffee or hot juice outside the kota, the traditional tent of the Lappish nomads. Late afternoon transfer to Rovaniemi for a short walk. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: ROVANIEMI - ATHENS - LARNACA
Today, the last day of our trip, we say goodbye to Finland. Breakfast free for a short walk. At noon we are transferred to the airport for the return flight to Larnaca via Athens.
