Day 1: LARNACA - ZURICH - COLMAR - ALSATIC VILLAGES - STRASBOURG
Meeting at the airport and flight to Zurich. Arrival, pickup and departure to the beautiful Alsatian villages of Ribeauville, Riquewihr and of course Colmar, the jewel of Alsace famous for its wines. Cathedrals, museums, unique architectural buildings and fountains adorn this small town and make it unique. Tour of the historic center with the famous Underlinden Museum, the Opera House, St. Martin's Cathedral and the Dominican Monastery, the Pfister House, an example of German Renaissance architecture, but also in "little Venice", part of the old town with the picturesque canals, ornate bridges, restaurants and outdoor cafes. Free time to enjoy this beautiful city that is ranked among the most beautiful in Europe every year. We continue to Strasbourg. Arrival and check-in at the hotel. Overnight.
Day 2: STRASBOURG
After breakfast and tour of Strasbourg - the capital of Alsace and one of the two seats of the European Parliament. Strasbourg is also home to the European Court of Human Rights and the Council of Europe. Panoramic tour of the city and then we will be transferred to the historic center where the imposing Cathedral dominates, one of the tallest in the world, with the Astronomical Clock located inside the church. We will wander through the picturesque narrow area known as "little France" with its wooden houses, countless bridges and flowery balconies. Afternoon free to continue your walks in beautiful Strasbourg. Overnight.
Day 3: STRASBOURG - BERN - LAUSANNE
Breakfast and departure for Lausanne. Crossing the beautiful and green Swiss countryside we will visit the capital of Switzerland, the beautiful Bern, which is built on the banks of the river Aar. On our tour of the old town we will see the famous Clock Tower, St. Vincent's Cathedral and the building that houses the Federal Parliament. Free time and we continue to our final destination Lausanne, headquarters of the International Olympic Committee. Arrival and check-in at the hotel. Overnight.
Day 4: LAUSANNE - GENEVA - CHAMONY - LAUSANNE
After breakfast tour of the old town. we will see, among others, Mont Repo Park, Place de la Ripon with the Palais Roumin, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Ouchy district on Lake Geneva, the Olympic Museum and the historic luxury hotel Beau Rivage. Then departure for the elegant and cosmopolitan Geneva, seat of many large International Organizations. Built on the shores of Lake Leman, it is the second largest city in Switzerland after Zurich. Among the sights we will see are the Palace of Nations, the Red Cross Museum, the famous Jet d'O fountain, the flower clock, the house where Ioannis Kapodistrias lived, St. Peter's Cathedral and the International Religious Monument Reform. The picturesque streets of the old town with its stone buildings, combined with the modern city of Banks and large Insurance Companies will impress you. We will then visit the world famous tourist resort of Chamonix located in a beautiful valley on the slopes of the famous White Mountain "Mont Blanc". Return to Lausanne. Overnight.
Day 5: LAUSANNE - INTERLAKEN - LUKERN - ZURICH (Optional visit to Mount Pilatus)
Breakfast and departure for cosmopolitan Interlaken, in the heart of the Swiss Alps. On our tour we will walk along Hohevec Avenue, with its many restaurants, cafes, bars and shops and we will admire the unique beauties of the city. We continue to the picturesque Lucerne, one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland. The old town is more than impressive with the colored facades of the houses, the cobbled streets and the small squares decorated with fountains. Free time. For those who love intense challenges we recommend enjoying (optionally), an incredible view of the surrounding mountains and Lake Lucerne from the top of Mount Pilatus, which is accessible by cable car. Truly the view is incredible both from the top of the mountain and also during the cable car ride up. We continue to Zurich. Arrival and check-in at the hotel. Overnight.
Day 6: ZURICH - SAINT MORITZ - ALPINE TRAIN - ZURICH
After breakfast depart for a full-day excursion to the world-famous ski resort of St. Moritz, with its picturesque chalets and luxury hotels for a high-end winter holiday. Following a wonderful route we arrive at Chur, where we will take the Alpine train towards St. Moritz. An unrepeatable route of about two and a half hours, which will fascinate you. We will pass by lakes, glaciers and fairy villages that are located between green forests and mountains and impress with their picturesqueness and beauty. Arrival in St. Moritz and free time to explore and sample local delicacies such as the famous cheese fondue. Late afternoon return to Zurich. Overnight.
Day 7-8: ZURICH - RHINE FALLS - LARNACA
Breakfast and immediately begins our panoramic tour of the city of Zurich. We will cross the Bahnhofstrasse where Switzerland's largest banks and trendy shops are located, the Cathedral, the 13th century Gothic Fraumnister Church famous for its stained glass windows, St. Peter's Church with the largest clock face in Europe, the building that it houses the Town Hall, the Opera, and the modern Le Courmouzier building which is the environmental protection center. We will then depart for the town of Schaffhausen on the Swiss-German border to visit the impressive Rhine Falls, a formidable natural phenomenon in the lush Alpine landscape. Free time and then departure to Zurich airport to catch our return flight. Arrival in Larnaca at dawn on the 8th day, impressed by the unique cities we visited and the fairytale Alpine scenery.
