Program

Day 1 (M. Saturday): LARNAKA - THESSALONIKI
Gathering at Larnaka airport and flight to Thessaloniki. Arrival, pick-up and transfer to our hotel in Thessaloniki. The rest of the day is free. In the evening we can attend the Easter service in a nearby church followed by dinner with the traditional mageritsa. Overnight stay.

Day 2 (Easter Sunday): LOUTRA POZAR - EDESSA
Love Day!!! Christ is Risen!!! After breakfast we will depart for the beautiful Loutra Pozar for relaxation. Then we will enjoy the rich Easter festive meal with skewered lamb in a traditional tavern. Late in the afternoon we will visit the city of Edessa, where we will see images of incomparable beauty and admire the "Karanos" Waterfall. Your interest will also be drawn by the countless canals with the small bridges that cross it, as well as the picturesque historic center, also known as the Varosi district with the buildings of typical Macedonian architecture. Free time. Return to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 3 (Easter Monday): TOUR OF THESSALONIKI AND VISIT TO THE METRO
After breakfast we will have a tour of the city of Thessaloniki to see some of its wonderful monuments such as: Kamara, Byzantine churches, Hagia Sophia, Aristotelous Square, Rotunda, White Tower. Then we continue to the Upper Town to see the Byzantine walls but also to admire the city from above. On the way down we will stop to visit the Church of Agios Dimitrios. Finally for today we will get to know the Thessaloniki Metro. The rest of the day is free. Overnight stay.

Day 4 (Easter Tuesday): SERRES - LAKE KERKINI - POROIA
Breakfast and departure for the Holy Monastery of Timios Prodromos, Serres. The Monastery, due to its centuries-old tradition, is among the most important and historical monastic centers in Macedonia. Time for pilgrimage. We continue to the artificial lake of Kerkini, which was formed in 1932 with the creation of a dam on the Strymon River. Free time for an optional boat ride to see the buffalo and wild birds and departure for the picturesque village of Ano Poroia, a village with history and picturesqueness, in an area of ​​rare natural beauty at the foot of Mount Belles. Free time to enjoy our lunch and return to our hotel.

Day 5 (Wednesday): THESSALONIKI - LARNACA
After breakfast our day is free for your shopping. In the afternoon transfer to Thessaloniki airport where we will take the return flight.
