Program

Day 1: LARNACA - ATHENS - KAMENA VOURLA - THERMOPYLES - GORGOPOTAMOS BRIDGE - KARPENISI
Gathering at Larnaca airport and flight to Athens. Arrival, pick-up and immediate departure for Kamena Vourla where we will have free time for lunch. Next stops will be at the Battle of Thermopylae with the Leonidas monument and the historic Gorgopotamos bridge. We continue to the villages of Orini Eftytania to arrive early in the afternoon in beautiful Karpenisi. Arrival and check-in at the hotel. Free time in the picturesque square and visit to the church of Agia Triada with its remarkable Byzantine and post-Byzantine icons. Overnight stay.

Day 2: PROUSSIOTISSA MONASTERY - MEGALO CHORIO - KORYSCHADES - GORGIANADES
Breakfast and departure to visit the Monastery of Panagia Proussiotissa. Our route is magical through the Krikeliotis Gorge, we stay to worship and see the museum with the ecclesiastical vestments and weapons of Karaiskakis. We return to Megalo Chorio where we will have time to visit the folklore museum and stay for our lunch. We continue to Koryschades, a traditional settlement with unique architecture, we will walk in the large paved square with the huge plane tree, we will see the church of Agios Athanasios which was built in 1865 and the museum of the National Resistance. Our tour of the beautiful fir villages will conclude with a visit to the village of Gorianades before returning to Karpenisi. The rest of the day is free.

Day 3: KARPENISI - LAKE KREMASTON - LAKE TRICHONIDA - MESSOLONGI - PATRA
Breakfast and we depart for Fragista, one of the most beautiful villages of Evrytania filled with fir trees and we arrive at the artificial lake of Kremaston where we will cross the Episcopal Bridge over the lake that connects the Prefectures of Evrytania and Aitoloakarnania, a stop to enjoy the panoramic view. We continue our beautiful route to reach the area of ​​Lake Trichonida for an optional lunch on the lake. Our beautiful route concludes with a short ferry boat transfer from Antirrio to Rio, the trip takes just 15 minutes. The view is magnificent as we sail next to the 3-kilometer cable bridge. Arrival in Patras and check-in at the hotel. In the evening we will take a walk in the most popular hangouts of Patras. Overnight.

Day 4: PATRA
After breakfast, our day is dedicated to Patras. We will start with a pilgrimage to the imposing Church of Agios Andreas, a masterpiece with unique hagiographies and continue to the Upper Town where the Castle of Patras is located. Time for a walk and to admire the city from above and we descend towards the center of the new city. Here we will discover the many squares of Patras surrounded by important sights as well as several shops and cafes. Free time to use as you wish. Overnight.

Day 5: PATRA - KALAVRYTA - MEGA SPILEO - AGIA LAVRA - CORINTH - PATRA
Breakfast and departure for Diakopto. We will board the Odontotos train to enjoy a magical journey of approximately one hour. After crossing the Vouraikos Gorge, we will end up in Kalavryta. Time to visit the war memorial, get to know the beauties of the area, do our shopping with local products, and also have lunch in one of the taverns. Early in the afternoon we board our coach and return to our hotel.

Day 6: PATRA - ATHENS - LARNACA
Breakfast and departure early in the morning for the center of Athens. Arrival and free time for walking and shopping. Early afternoon transfer to Athens airport where we will take the flight to Larnaca.
