Program

Day 1: Larnaca – Frankfurt
Meeting at Larnaca airport where we will take the flight to Frankfurt. Arrival pick up by our leader and transfer to the hotel.
Dynamic and sophisticated, Frankfurt is a fascinating mix of contrasts. On the one hand, the "Mainhattan" of ultra-modern glass skyscrapers that are reflected in the waters of the Main. On the other hand, the birthplace of Goethe with its beautiful medieval center, the bohemian district of Sachsenhausen with its winding alleys, the city of 60 museums, impressive city parks and the multicultural coexistence of dozens of nationalities.

Day 2: Frankfurt – Strasbourg
After the morning departure for Strasbourg, located almost on the western banks of the Rhine, capital of the Lilliputian province of Alsace and co-capital of the European Parliament. It is also home to the European Court of Human Rights and the Council of Europe. Arrival and we will start the city tour. The historic center was designated as a "World Heritage Site" by UNESCO. We will walk through the old town, full of picturesque houses with wood and paint, where the Cathedral of Our Lady of Strasbourg and the astronomical clock dominate and in the old neighborhood of the city "little France" where fishermen and tanners used to have their houses. In the Chateau square is the Roan tower which today houses the main museums of the city, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Museum of Decorative Arts. Free time on the pedestrian streets of the city for coffee or food. Late afternoon return to Frankfurt.

Day 3: Frankfurt (Tour)
Breakfast followed by a guided tour. The German Stock Exchange and the European Central Bank are based here. Tour of Romer, the Renaissance fountain of Justice, the church of Agios Nikolaos and the Apostle Paul. After visiting the Cathedral of Saint Bartholomew, we will go up to the famous Eicherner Steg bridge with the imposing sign inscribed with Homer's lines from the Odyssey: "PLEON EPI OINOPA PONTON OP ALLOTHROUS ANTHROPOUS". Afternoon free for walks and shopping.

Day 4: Frankfurt – Baden Baden – Heidelberg
Breakfast and we depart for the picturesque spa town of Baden Baden. En route stop in romantic Heidelberg where we will see the market square dominated by the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, the University buildings and the ornate Jesuit church. Arrival in picturesque Baden Baden, known since Roman times for its thermal springs and historic casino. Free time for coffee. Late afternoon return to Frankfurt.

Day 5: Frankfurt - Larnaca
Breakfast and departure to Frankfurt airport where we will take the return flight to Larnaca.
