Program

Day 1: LARNACA - RIGA - TALLINN
Gathering at Larnaca airport and departure for Riga. Arrival, pick-up and transfer to the fairytale capital of Estonia, Tallinn. Check-in at the hotel. Overnight.

Day 2: TALLINN
Breakfast and then we will tour the beautiful capital of Estonia. We will walk through the walled old town, which could be described as a museum of medieval architecture. We will see the Town Hall, the Toombea fortress built by the Knights of Honor in the 13th century, the impressive Russian church of Alexander Nevsky, the Gothic Cathedral and the Katriorg Palace. Free time for lunch (optional) and we continue with a visit to the seaside area of ​​Pirita, just 5 kilometers from the city center, where we will visit the Monastery of St. Brigitte. Almost opposite the monastery is the Olympic Village, which was built to serve the needs of the 1980 Olympic Games. The rest of the day is free to walk through the picturesque alleys of the old town and enjoy your coffee and dessert in one of the outdoor cafes. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: TALLINN
Breakfast and free day to get to know the fairy-tale Tallinn better. A fascinating combination of old and new, immersed in medieval charm, but also modern at the same time, Tallinn has an interesting story to tell. The old town, built in the 13th century, will envelop your every step with its medieval atmosphere. With its narrow cobbled streets, towers, castles, medieval houses and Gothic churches, it will make you feel like the protagonists of a medieval fairy tale. The entire old town has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Don't forget to try local specialties that include fresh fish and meat. Overnight stay.

Day 4: TALLINN - SIGULDA - RIGA
After breakfast, departure for the picturesque town of Sigulda and the Gauja National Park area. Sigulda is built on the banks of the Gauja River and its surroundings offer a magnificent view. We will visit the famous walled castle of the Turaida knights, a great medieval and architectural monument, which experienced moments of great glory in the early 13th century. The castle hosts the Ethnographic Museum and the Museum of the History of the region. We continue to Riga, where we arrive late in the afternoon. Check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Day 5: RIGA
After breakfast we will walk to every corner of the old city of Riga, the Queen of the Baltics. Riga is a city of stately elegance and magnificent architecture, which many compare to St. Petersburg. The famous churches of St. Peter and St. James, the city walls, the small and large merchant guilds, the Town Hall Square and of course the famous district with its magnificent Art Nouveau buildings, are some of the highlights of our tour. The rest of the day is free at your disposal. Overnight stay.

Day 6: RIGA - RUDALE - VILNIUS
After breakfast we depart for the capital of Lithuania, Vilnius, which is built on the banks of the Vilnia River. On the way we will stop to visit the famous Palace-museum with the magnificent Rudale gardens, which is the most important Baroque Palace in Latvia. It was built in 1730 by the great Italian architect Bartolomeo Rastrelli, who also designed the Winter Palace and Peterhof Palace in St. Petersburg. The Rudale Palace was built as a summer residence of the Duke of Courland. Arrival in Vilnius and check-in at the hotel. Overnight.

Day 7: VILNIUS - TRAKAI - VILNIUS
Breakfast. The morning tour that follows in the historical center of the old city will reveal its simple, unpretentious and subtly rustic character. The public buildings of the capital, the Church of the Apostles Peter and Paul, the Cathedral with its bell tower, the University building, the Church of St. Anne and of course the old quarter with its picturesque buildings are the main stops of our tour. In the afternoon we will set off to the beautiful lake region to visit the impressive Trakai Castle, which is built with red brick and today houses the Art Museum. Return to Vilnius. Dinner and overnight.

Day 8: VILNIUS - RIGA - LARNACA
Breakfast (Breakfast box). Early in the morning departure to the airport to take the return flight. Arrival in Larnaca impressed by the unique beauties of the Baltic countries.
