Program
Day 1: LARNACA - WARSAW
Assembly at Larnaca airport and departure for Warsaw, the capital of Poland. Arrival, pick-up and transfer to our hotel. Overnight.
Day 2: WARSAW
Breakfast and guided tour of the city. Warsaw is full of sights and monuments of culture and art, which although completely destroyed during World War II, were rebuilt with faithful and detailed copying from historical documents, sketches, paintings and photographs, restoring the old and new city of Warsaw. We will start from the Sigismund's Column, the oldest statue in Warsaw and the Castle of the Kings. We continue to "Lazenki", which is a complex of palaces and parks in Warsaw, and we will tour the grounds of the famous royal palace "Palace on the Water". We will pass through the main street Marszalkowska, with its many shopping stores, where the Palace of Culture and Science is also located. The rest of the day is free. The largest shopping mall in the city "Zlote Tarasy" awaits you for your shopping. Overnight stay.
Day 3: WARSAW - AUSCHWITZ - KRAKOW
After breakfast, departure for the largest Nazi concentration camp, Auschwitz, to visit the crematoriums of the Nazi occupation where millions of people, of 28 different nationalities, died. We continue to Krakow, perhaps the most beautiful city in Poland. Arrival and check-in at the hotel. In the evening we recommend a romantic carriage ride through the streets of the old town. Overnight stay.
Day 4: KRAKOW (SIGHTSEEING)
The sightseeing tour of this beautiful city, which is a magnet for millions of tourists, begins after breakfast. We will start from the main square, Rynek Glowny, which is one of the largest in Europe, to see the old cloth market and the famous Church of Our Lady, the church tower and hear the famous trumpet signal, the Barbican, Florianska Street and the oldest building of the Collegium Maius of the University of Krakow, founded in 1364. We will cross the Royal Route of Poland towards Wawel to see the Castle and the Cathedral. The rest of the day is free. Overnight stay.
Day 5: KRAKOW
Breakfast and free day at your disposal to take your walks in Krakow, the jewel city with its numerous Renaissance and Gothic buildings. Wander through the medieval alleys, explore the city's impressive museums and taste local specialties. Polish cuisine is famous for its meat dishes, sausages, and Polish dumplings "Pierogi" with meat, mushroom or cheese filling. For shopping, we recommend the huge shopping center "Galeria Krakowska" with countless shops, cafes and restaurants. Overnight.
Day 6: KRAKOW - WIELICKA - WARSAW
After breakfast we will depart to visit the unique Wieliczka salt mines. One of the oldest in the world, it has been turned into a museum and a magnificent work of art and since 1978 has been included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. We will admire the various sculptures made of salt and the magnificent church which has been carved entirely by the salt miners themselves. A unique place in the world that you have certainly not seen before. We continue to our final destination, Warsaw. Arrival and check-in at the hotel. Overnight.
Day 7: WARSAW - LARNACA
Breakfast and departure for the Warsaw airport to take the return flight. Arrival in Larnaca early in the afternoon, clearly impressed by a country with magnificent architecture, beautiful landscapes, and rich history.
