Program

Day 1: Larnaca - Athens - Rovaniemi/Santa's Village - Kemi, Northern Lights
Departure from Larnaca to Athens. Meeting at Athens airport and direct flight to Rovaniemi, the capital of Finnish Lapland. Upon arrival, we will visit the most magical village in the world, Santa's village and meet him and his elves in his office! We will also be given information about the Arctic Circle (or North Pole Circle), the northernmost of the five imaginary parallels of the earth, latitude 66° 33΄ 38΄΄ north of the Equator and we will receive the genuine diploma of its crossing. We continue for Kemi. Arrival and check-in at the SCANDIC KEMI 4* hotel (www.scandichotels.com). Dinner and then, if we are of course lucky, we will be able to admire the spectacle of the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis), with another activity we offer: the famous Northern Lights Hunting. Return to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 2: Kemi, ice fishing
Have you ever dreamed of catching fish by drilling through the ice? Put on winter clothes, equip yourself with proper tools and try your luck. Walk on the ice sheet of the Gulf of Bothnia, pierce the ice and be patient… Enjoy a hot juice and who knows, it might be your lucky day! Leisure. Overnight.

Day 3: Kemi, Ranua, Wildlife Park, Reindeer Farm, Sleigh Ride
Today we will visit the Wildlife Park located in Ranua, which is the northernmost of its kind in the world. This park hosts 50 different species of animals out of a total of about 200, such as lynxes, bears, wolves, moose, deer, etc., that live in their natural environment. We will then arrive at a traditional Lappish reindeer farm, which we will visit and have the opportunity to learn how a reindeer sleigh is driven. This traditional way of moving through the snowy forests is truly a unique experience. We will enjoy a hot cup of coffee around the fire and learn about the way of life of the farm people. Return and time to enjoy a sauna at the hotel. Overnight.

Day 4: Kemi, Snowmobile Safari, Husky Safari, Rovaniemi, Northern Lights
This morning wearing the special thermal suits that have been given to us, we will depart for Raitola, from where we will start our safari with snowmobiles (motorized snow scooters) over frozen lakes and rivers in the forest. Then we will go to a husky farm to meet these wonderful dogs, learn about their life and the nature of the area while enjoying a hot drink, but also for another thrilling arctic experience: the "husky safari", a sleigh ride pulled by huskies. Departure for Rovaniemi, where there will be free time to walk around the city. Return to the hotel. Dinner and then we will look for the Aurora Borealis (Aurora Borealis) spectacle for the second time with the famous Northern Lights Hunting. Return to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 5: Kemi, SnowExperience365, Icebreaker Cruise, Northern Lights
Morning visit to Kemi SnowExperience365: An indoor exhibition space made of snow and ice, a winter "Wonderland". Inside SnowExperience365 you will see a year-round ice restaurant, ice and snow sculptures and a fun ice slide. Then another exciting experience awaits us: an amazing 3.5-hour cruise on the icebreaker Sampo in the Gulf of Bothnia. Special thermal suits are available to all who wish to dive into the icy waters during the ship's stop - an experience in itself. We will also enjoy our meal here! Return to the hotel. Dinner and then we will have another chance to admire the spectacle of the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) with the famous Northern Lights Hunting. Return to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 6: Kemi - Rovaniemi - Athens - Larnaca
Breakfast at leisure and then we will transfer to Rovaniemi airport and board our flight to Athens where we will take our return flight to Larnaca with our bags full of unforgettable experiences.
