Program

Day 1: LARNACA - DUBAI - OSAKA
Depart Larnaca via a stopover to Osaka, one of Japan's most important cities with impressive architecture. Overnight on the plane.

Day 2: OSAKA
Arrival in Osaka. Pick-up and transfer to the hotel. With almost nine million inhabitants and an economy that surpasses those of Hong Kong and Thailand, Osaka certainly has great potential. This imposing yet elegant city is a commercial hub and has excellent restaurants and nightlife. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: OSAKA - NARA - OSAKA
After breakfast we will depart to visit one of the oldest cities in Japan, Nara, which is home to the largest bronze statue of Buddha in the world, 16 meters high and weighing 550 tons. A symbol of peace are the thousand or so tamed deer that roam freely in the city park and around the Todai-ji Temple that we will visit. According to legend, the deer became the messengers of the gods when one of them appeared on a white deer to protect the city. Return to Osaka and tour of the city. Among other things, we will see the famous Osakajo Castle and then we will be transferred to the Totombori & Sansaibashi shopping area, a trademark of the city, with hundreds of shops and restaurants, where you will have the opportunity to try the famous street food of Osaka. Next stop, the spectacular Umeda Sky skyscraper. Climbing the building is a unique experience and the view from the top floor is breathtaking. Return to the hotel and overnight.

Day 4: OSAKA - KYOTO
Breakfast and then we will depart for Kyoto. A trip to Kyoto is equivalent to a tour of 11 centuries of Japanese history. Here, traditions, religion, aesthetics and art were born. The blooming Kyoto of cherry blossoms and sophisticated gardens maintains its color and authenticity unchanged, refusing to compromise with the future. Here, Geishas, ​​kimonos, Samurai and Sumo do not belong to the past. Our first stop is the picturesque Arashiyama area, where we will see, among other things, the bamboo forest, a truly amazing place to enjoy the beauty of nature with the height of the plants reaching 40 meters and the picturesque Togetsu-kyo bridge. Then we will enjoy a unique experience, as we will have the opportunity to be introduced to the world of the Samurai and their way of life and we will watch a short sword demonstration. Overnight.

Day 5: KYOTO
After breakfast we will visit the incomparable Golden Pavilion (Kinkakuji-Temple) which is entirely covered in gold leaf. We continue with a visit to Fushimi Inari Shrine, known for its thousands of torii (traditional gates found at the entrances of Shinto shrines), which is located on the sacred mountain Inari-san in Fushimi and is the central temple among approximately 40,000 temples in Japan dedicated to the deity of rice, Inari, and is believed to have been built in 711. We will then visit a sake brewery. There we will have the opportunity to watch how this traditional drink made from rice is made. We continue with the impressive Kiyomizu Temple. We will climb the small hill that will bring us to the temple with the statue of the Goddess of Mercy Kanon with the 11 heads. The Sanenjaka and Ninenjaka area will take you back in time with its beautiful traditional architecture and traditional small shops. Return to the hotel and overnight.

Day 6: KYOTO - HAKONE (MOUNT FUJI)
Breakfast. Today will be an exciting day. Before we depart, we will send your luggage to Tokyo and you will only have a small handbag with you. We will depart by bullet train to the popular resort of Hakone where we will have the opportunity to admire (weather permitting) the volume and grandeur of the snow-capped Fuji. We will board one of the "pirate ships" to enjoy a cruise on the picturesque and crystal blue Lake Ashi, famous for the view it offers of Mount Fuji. Transfer and check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Day 7 HAKONE - KAMAKURA - YOKOHAMA - TOKYO
After breakfast we will depart for Tokyo. On the way we will visit the beautiful medieval city of Kamakura. Among other things we will see the Great Buddha Temple with the 13-meter-high outdoor bronze statue and the thousands of votive lanterns. We will finish with a walk along the picturesque Komachi-dori pedestrian street with its wooden houses, picturesque shops and traditional restaurants. We continue to Yokohama, the former fishing village that became a port and one of the largest cities in Japan. We will visit the famous China town, the largest in Japan and Yamashita Park - famous for the view it offers and we will walk along the waterfront. Finally, we leave the lively Minato Mirai area next to the harbor with its skyscrapers, many restaurants and shops. Arrival in Tokyo and check-in at the hotel. Overnight.

Day 8: TOKYO - TOUR
After breakfast, we will begin our full-day tour of the glamorous capital of Japan, which moves at a dizzying pace and harmoniously combines the traditional with the modern. Among other things, we will see the traditional Asakusa district where the Senso-ji Buddhist temple is located - the oldest in Tokyo and one of the most important, the bustling Nakamise shopping street with its traditional craft shops and outdoor restaurants inviting you to taste the local delicacies. We continue our tour passing by the Imperial Palace, the official residence of the Japanese Emperor, to arrive at the largest intersection in the world, Shibuya, which is perhaps the most prominent Tokyo attraction in films and beyond. The area is bustling with life and is filled with modern shops, restaurants and entertainment & recreation centers. Free time for shopping and then we will enjoy a panoramic view of the city from the observation deck of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building Observation. Return to the hotel and overnight.

Day 9: TOKYO
Breakfast and the day is free at your disposal to use as you wish. We recommend you to take your walks in the Ginza area with its luxury fashion and technology stores or visit Ueno Park, an oasis of green in the heart of Tokyo that is full of life, also famous for the many museums and art galleries located within the park, as well as the zoo, traditional markets and local specialties. In the evening we recommend a walk in the famous and super-bright Kabukicho street, or otherwise the "red light district" of Tokyo. Overnight.

Day 10-11: TOKYO - DUBAI - LARNACA
Breakfast and a few more hours at your disposal in this exciting city. In the afternoon departure to Tokyo airport to take the return flight. Arrival in Larnaca on the morning of the 11th day, fascinated by the most modern country on the planet with a history of thousands of years, which fascinates even the most demanding traveler.
