Program

Day 1-2: LARNACA-BEIJING
Gathering at Larnaca airport and departure for Beijing with an intermediate change of aircraft. Arrival in Beijing, transfer and check-in at the hotel. Free time for rest. Overnight.

Day 3: BEIJING - TIEN AN MEN - FORBIDDEN CITY - SUMMER PALACE
Breakfast and we depart for a symbolic monument, Tiananmen Square or Tiananmen Square. In the national symbol of China, which is considered the largest square in the world, we will see the giant portrait of Mao that invites us to the purple walls and from there to the interior of the Forbidden City. The legendary city of 9999 halls hosted 2 imperial dynasties, the Ming and Qing. We continue to the Summer Palace, built during the last imperial dynasty of China, the Qing. The Summer Palace with the picturesque Kuming Lake, which is now the largest park in the country. We end our tour today with a visit to a pearl factory. Overnight stay.

Day 4: BEIJING - GREAT WALL OF CHINA - MING TOMBSTONE
Breakfast and we start with a tour of the Great Wall of China. Arrival at Juyongguan where we will have the opportunity to walk on the cobblestones of the wall and mentally transport ourselves to the turbulent era of the dynasties. Then we suggest you wander around the open-air market in the area for a while. We continue to visit the tombs of the Ming Dynasty and walk along the sacred road with the mythical animals - guardians of the tombs - and the Mandarins. On our return to Beijing we will pass by the "Bird's Nest", the famous Olympic stadium. Then we will visit a jade factory. In the evening we will enjoy our dinner with the famous Peking duck in a local restaurant. Overnight.

Day 5: BEIJING - XIAN
After breakfast we will transfer to the station to board the train to take us to Xian, the city treasury of Chinese culture and one of the oldest cities in China with more than 3000 years of history. The city was the eastern end of the Silk Road and the capital of many dynasties. Arrival, pick-up and visit to the Buddhist Monastery with the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Transfer to the hotel and overnight.

Day 6: XIAN - TERRAIN ARMY
After breakfast we will visit perhaps the greatest archaeological discovery of the 20th century, the legendary Terracotta Army, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its discovery was made in 1974 by farmers in the area who were trying to dig a well. We will visit this miracle today, a Museum of 6,000 life-size terracotta soldiers, who stand guard at the Mausoleum of the first emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang. Construction work began in 246 BC and lasted over 40 years. The clay soldiers hold bronze weapons, swords, spears, knives and are lined up in a battle position. The ones in front are kneeling and the ones behind are standing. They are followed by horses and chariots with charioteers. Then we will visit the well-preserved walls of the Ming Dynasty. Return to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 7: XIAN - SHANGHAI
Breakfast. We will be transferred to the train station which will take us to Shanghai. The route we will follow will offer you images of unparalleled beauty. Arrival, transfer to the hotel. You can take a walk in the center of the old city and taste jasmine tea in one of the many teahouses. Overnight.

Day 8: SHANGHAI
After breakfast we will have a guided tour of the city. We start with a visit to the Shanghai Museum, then a city sightseeing tour, which includes the Yu Yuan Garden in the old city, the Buddhist Monastery where we will see the rare work of art - the white jade Buddha statue, with its sweet and understanding expression, the wonderful squares and old districts and then we will enjoy a cruise on the Huangpu River. We end our tour today with a visit to a silk factory. Free time at your disposal. We recommend visiting the TV Tower, which is 263 meters high, for a breathtaking view of the city. Overnight.

Day 9: SHANGHAI - SUTZOU - SHANGHAI
Today we will have a full-day excursion that will bring us to the water city, the nearby Suzhou. The city of water, rice and silk, built on 14 canals with 350 stone bridges, was named by Marco Polo when he visited it as the "Venice of the East" and is famous for its traditional Chinese gardens. The walking tour of the picturesque, narrow streets of the old city and the boat ride on the main of its innumerable canals will excite you. In the afternoon we return to Shanghai. In the evening we suggest an acrobatic program where Chinese acrobats are famous for their skill. Overnight stay.

Day 10-11: SHANGHAI - LARNACA
Breakfast and free time at your disposal to complete your shopping. The rooms will be at your disposal until 6:00 in the afternoon. Transfer to Shanghai airport to take the flight to Larnaca with a stopover. Arrival in Larnaca impressed by a country with unsurpassed history and culture, countless attractions and natural beauty.
