Program
Day 1: LARNACA - BUCHAREST - POIANA BRASOV
Gathering at Larnaca airport and departure for Bucharest. Arrival, pick-up and transfer to the popular and lush green resort of Poiana Brasov. Arrival and check-in at the hotel. Overnight.
Day 2: POIANA BRASOV - CARPATHIAN MOUNTAINS (BRAN TOWER)
Breakfast and full-day excursion to the famous Carpathian Mountains to visit the impressive Dracula's castle in the Bran region. The castle was built in 1377 to protect the surrounding area from invaders. We continue our excursion with a visit to the medieval city of Brasov. In this enchanting city surrounded by lush green hills, we will see the Black Church dating back to 1477 (the largest Gothic church in Romania), and the main square with the Town Hall. Return to the hotel. Overnight.
Day 3: POIANA BRASOV - SIGHISOARA
After breakfast we will have a full-day excursion to the birthplace of Vlad Tepes, an exceptionally preserved medieval city nestled in a beautiful hilly countryside, Sighisoara and is the only inhabited medieval city in Europe. Eleven towers stand proudly along the city walls. Inside the walls, the cobblestone streets are ideal for walks among the beautiful residences and intact 16th-century churches. Car traffic is prohibited in the city because it has been declared a historical site by UNESCO. Return to the hotel. Overnight.
Day 4: POIANA BRASOV - PELES PALACE - POSADA - BUCHAREST
Breakfast and departure for Bucharest. On the way we will visit the impressive Peles Palace, one of the most important sights in Romania located in the Carpathian Mountains, in an idyllic green landscape and then the Hunting Museum in Posada. We continue to our final destination. Arrival in beautiful Bucharest and check into our rooms. Overnight.
Day 5: BUCHAREST
After breakfast we will discover the most important sights of the city. We begin the panoramic tour from the Roman Square, the Arch of Triumph, the Village Museum, the Free Press Square, the City Hall and Cismigiu Park, the Law School, the Opera House, the "Carol Davilla" Medical School and continue to the Cotroceni Presidential Palace, the Botanical Garden and the Military Academy. Driving along the Dambovita River we will reach the imposing House of the People. We continue to the Patriarchate, the University Square, the Greek Church and the Fire Brigade Tower. The afternoon is free to do some shopping or take a walk in the large parks, such as Herastrau, located in the northern part of the city. It is worth taking a walk in this lush park and enjoying a boat ride on the lake of the same name that surrounds it. Overnight stay.
Day 6: BUCHAREST - LARNACA
Breakfast and departure for the airport to take the return flight. Arrival in Larnaca at noon impressed by the land of legends, traditions and the unique beauty of the landscapes.
