Program

Day 1: LARNACA - SOFIA
Meeting at Larnaca airport and departure for Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. Arrival, pickup and transfer to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 2: SOFIA - TOUR
After breakfast, a city tour follows. We will visit the Alexander Nevsky Temple, the Presidential Palace, the historic Parliament, the Russian Church and the Church of Saint Nedelya. Afternoon free time in beautiful Sofia for shopping and sightseeing. You will be charmed by the various small shops with handmade items from young artists that are scattered in the city center. Overnight.

Day 3: SOFIA - RILLA - BANSKO
Breakfast and then we will depart for the well-known tourist resort of Bansko located northeast of Mount Pirin. Lush forests of pines and firs as well as crystal clear lakes, make up the landscape of the resort that has developed touristically in recent decades, as a destination for all seasons. On the way we will visit the famous monastery of Rila. Arrival in Bansko and hotel check-in. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Bansko - Melnik - Sandanski
After breakfast we will depart for ancient Meleniko, the rich commercial city and the most notable center of Hellenism in the northern part of Eastern Macedonia. Today it is the smallest town in Bulgaria with a special beauty. The beautiful mansions, built with the Macedonian architecture, are today guesthouses and taverns whose interior reminds of Bavarian beer halls. And as for the famous red wine, which was especially preferred by the emperors of Byzantium, it is still produced to this day. We will walk through the narrow streets and then taste the local wines. We continue to the city of Sandanski, one of the most famous spa towns in Bulgaria with green parks. Free time to enjoy your meal (optional) or do your shopping. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Bansko
Breakfast and then we will have a tour of the city of Bansko. Afternoon free at your disposal. Take time for yourself and relax at the hotel's spa. You can also take your walk and breathe fresh air or go mountain biking and enjoy the magic of the green landscape. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Bansko - Batskovo - Philippoupoli
After breakfast we will depart for Plovdiv (Plovdiv). On the way we will visit the Monastery of Batskovo, or Dormition of the Virgin, one of the largest Orthodox monasteries in Bulgaria. It was built in the 11th century and was a fortress for that time and one of the first tourist attractions. Free time and we continue to Plovdiv, the second most populous city in Bulgaria. Arrival and check-in at the hotel. Overnight.

Day 7: PHILIPPOUPOLI - TOUR
After breakfast we will take a guided tour of the old town of Philippopolis which is historically preserved, known for its special architectural style. The city took its name from the Macedonian King Philip II, father of Alexander the Great. Free time in the city center to do your shopping and strolls. In the evening we invite you to a traditional restaurant for dinner with a folklore program. Overnight.

Day 8: PHILIPPOUPOLI - SOFIA - LARNACA
Breakfast and then departure to Sofia airport to catch the return flight. Arrival in Larnaca in the afternoon.
